Give Your Skin Some Love

I received a lot of questions about my skin care routine from my self-care blog, so here it is! I think it is super important to keep your skin healthy just like we try to keep our bodies healthy!

In the morning, I wash my face with the Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser by Glow Recipe. I gently pat my face dry and then apply the Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-tight Toner also by Glow Recipe. Once that dries, I then put on the Pineapple – C Bright Serum, again, by Glow Recipe. Lastly, and in my opinion one of the most important steps, moisturizer. I use the Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer by, you guessed it, Glow Recipe. If I am going to put makeup on after that I skip sunscreen because my foundation has sunscreen in it, but if not, I always apply some sort of sunscreen. I don’t have a favorite, I just use whatever I have. You can also buy moisturizer with sunscreen already in it!

Night time is similar but with a few added steps. I always start out by washing my face. I use the same cleanser that I use in the morning. Every other day I use a sheet face mask. There are a few that are my favorites: Sephora Collection clean face mask from Sephora and TonyMoly I’m Real Avocado Mask Sheet (or any other TonyMoly mask) from Ulta. If you want something a little more expensive, the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin sheet mask is amazing. I then do the same steps as my morning routine, toner, serum, and moisturizer. Then I put on a sleeping mask. I use the Watermelon Slow Sleeping Mask by, yes, Glow Recipe. Lastly, I use an under eye sleeping mask, Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask by, yep, one more time, Glow Recipe.

I do this every single day. I want to make sure my skin stays healthy and moisturized. I tend to have oily skin and these products don’t make me any more oily, but they do give me a beautiful glow, which I like. I think these products are good for any skin type.

The products mentioned above are a little pricy, however you can get some really awesome skincare products at the drug store as well. Some of my favorite brands are Neutrogena (especially their hydro boost line), and E.L.F skin care products are great and super affordable.

If you want to really spend some money, Drunk Elephant is my ultimate favorite skin care brand.

Let me know what skin care products you enjoy! I’m always up for trying new things!

*I swear this post is not sponsored by Glow Recipe! Lol! But, hey, if you’re out there reading this Glow Recipe, I love your stuff and would love for you to sponsor a post!
