I Love My Family!

If you know me, then you know that I spend most of my time with my family. If you asked me what I did on the weekend the answer will most likely be that I hung out with my fam!

They are my biggest supporters. We don’t always get along all the time, but I still love them.

I currently live with my sister, Ashley, and my brother-in-law, Josh, and my nephew, Marcus. They are and have always been here for me. They listen to me vent and they help me in any way they can. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them. They keep me sane at times and are also just really fun to be around. I don’t know what I would do without them. I love you all! Thank you for being so great.

Marcus is my joy and my one and only nephew. He never fails to make me smile every single day! I never knew I could love a child as much as I love him! I often wonder what it would have been like if I would have succeeded at my suicide attempt. He would have never known his aunt, only the pictures and stories that he would hear. That makes me feel so sad and it also wants me to live life so we can get to know each other and be best friends! I’m so lucky that I get to live with him and watch him grow up.

My parents, Leslie and Jamie, have always been here for me. They have always provided me with everything I have ever needed and more. I know I don’t always express it but I truly appreciate everything they have ever done for me and continue to do for me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of my loving parents. Thank you for all the help and support. It’s appreciated more than you will ever know! I love you both!

Barbara Dallas, may she rest in peace, was my loving grandmother. She recently passed away this January. She was my world. Arguably my favorite person on the planet. As a child, I spent a lot of time with her going to the movies, swimming in her pool, or just hanging out and listening to her stories about when she was a child. We also watched way too many westerns together! She always made sure I was well fed and always made sure I had enough money (which I always did but she insisted on giving me money anyway). We had so many good times together that I will always cherish. I love you grandma!

Support is so important. I honestly don’t know where I would be without my family. They keep me on the right path and are always making sure I stay happy and healthy. I hope that everyone has at least one person in their life that makes them feel special and wanted and supported. I am lucky enough to have many people.

THANK YOU FAMILY!!! I LOVE YOU!!!
